Youtube combinatorics: little britain
I've been sick since last Sunday, one of those annoying summer colds, and like a kid too sick to play baseball, I sweated in my apartment with the blinds drawn while friends called me from the beach on Labor Day.
When I'm sick my consumption patters sink to the lowest common denominator. I eat bad food (French silk pie, macaroni and cheese drenched in sri racha sauce, convenience store sandwiches, lemonade, and frozen pizzas [Wolfgang Puck brand]) and watch nothing but trash television--Golden Girls, NBC Nightly News, Maury, and Little Britain.
In that spirit, I present to you some funny clips from my new favorite television show. It's high time I got BBC America.
Computer says 'no'...
Fat fighters
Bubbles DeVere
Sir Norman Fry's public statement
School secretary
Vicky Pollard defends her turf on her estate
Andy's smurf outfit...
You can watch back episodes of Little Britain via Netflix streaming service. The video quality is pretty good and it's free with membership. I've been watching The League of Gentlemen in between DVDs. That and bad gay movies.
Posted by: The Angry Young Man at September 9, 2007 4:04 PMhave we talked about this before? you know I'm completely obsessed with this, right? Marjorie is my favorite.
Posted by: scott at September 11, 2007 2:56 AMSeriously? How come I've never heard of this show before? I'm basically obsessed with any good British comedy. This one is quite awesome and I am seriously considering restarting my netflix queue (canceled it this summer) in order to watch them online.
My favorite is Bubbles DeVere. In fact, I've taken to whispering in to A's ear when we're in bed, post-coital, "Call me 'Bubbles,' dahling..."
