Bringing back the peddler

tshirts_rack_9_06

I have some shirts. They are for sale. I want all of you beautiful, lovely, adorable people to wear them.

On Sunday, please come and find me and pay me money to be beautiful in mine own creations. I am bringing back the notion of the peddler.

Think of the snake oil salesman in Pete's Dragon. Think of Portobello Road in Bedknobs and Broomsticks. I have a garment rack on wheels. After 12 pm I will be in the vicinity of 26th and Lyndale Ave. S., about two or three blocks north, south, east and west of there, constantly crossing the vortex of two major ley lines with my shirts. Cowbells may alert you to my presence. Come out of your apartments (weather permitting) and shop.

You will know me by my charlatan moustache...

Bro that 'stache is killer. A conical goatee would be a swell addition. This act of faux-charlatanism, however, marks the beginning of the end for you...soon you'll be dragging a basket of old bedsheets and other assorted detritus down the street, babbling incoherently to the cats at your heels in between calls to the public to come down and have a peek at your wares...soon, you'll dress the part and start your own chapter of peddlers and town criers:
