Schoolgirls and Mobilesuits
Something to do this weekend if you happen to be bumming around Whittier...The Minneapolis College of Art and Design will be hosting "Schoolgirls and Mobilsuits," a three-day conference on anime, manga, and other forms of Japanese popular culture.
Organized by MCAD's own energetic otaku expert, Frenchy Lunning, expect some excellent anime screenings and interesting panels. Look for me in the otaku bazaar.
